Lungile Maqoma

After a yearlong internship with the Office of the State Attorney in East London South Africa in 2010. Mr. Maqooma went on to complete my articles of clerkship as a Candidate Attorney under Wesley Pretorius & amp; Associates a boutique Labour Law Practice between from 2011 till 2013. I was then admitted as an Attorney of the High Court of South Africa with the Cape Law Society after successfully passing the Bar Exams in 2013. He continued to work at Wesley Pretorius and Associates as an Associate between 2013 to 2015. Towards the end of June 2015, he moved on and joined Smith Tabata Attorneys also in East London as an Associate at their Labour and Public Law Department where he worked at the firm for a period of one year until the end of July 2016.

To broaden his skill set, at the end of 2016 Mr .Maqooma left South Africa for Germany to pursue a master’s degree in International and European Law at the University of Saarland in Saarbrucken. Maqooma is a firm believer that Africa has untouched potential and a vast amount of resources. Therefore, prior to joining the International legal team of KLA he has worked with Africa Advisors GmbH, Germany, wherein to some extent he has played an essential role in cultivating that potential in young people both, socially and professionally to achieve the true potential of Africa through sustainable development.
